[K12OSN] OT: Parental Email Tools

A buddy of mine recently pointed me to KidMail.net, a service that 
allows parents to pre-approve email to their kids.  After perusing the 
site, I think the idea is grand and wondered if anyone out there knew of 
an Open Source work-alike.  If there's not one, maybe there should be.  
Any comments?
