I looked in /lib/modules/2.6.17.8-ltsp-1/kernel/sound/isa/ and found some
more modules.
snd-sb8 and es1688 both seem to work equally well.
SMODULE_01 = "snd-sb8 port=0x220 irq=5 dma8=1"
