In the hourly cron script it looks for FLASH_SOUND_HACK in /etc/sysconfig/k12ltsp but in that file the option is REMOTE_SOUND_HACK That would explain why my Flash sound stopped working. I think this script needs to be updated in K12LTSP distribution.
