[K12OSN] CPU vs. RAM for two users

I run a 2.0 Celeron w/ 640 MB at home, typically serving 2 or 3 clients.
The CPU is definitely the slow part of this system.  I don't seem
to swap much, so the RAM is apparently ok.  But websites like newegg and amazon really bog it down (I
think that's due to their use of java, but I can't be sure).
