Hey Eric,

Hmm, your right. I was never present when the error popped up. I'll redo it 
and stay put to watch when it happens.

ok, I watched the process.  It errors out when the "Starting Install Process. 
This may take several minutes..." message pops up. I did a standard s/w 
install with KDE also selected.

If I choose retry the cd is ejected and it asks for "CentOS disc -99 to 
continue"

I tried it on another computer with same results. Maybe the iso is corrupting 
when I download it. How do I check it against the md5sums listed on the 
website?
