Yes it is

This is fantastic news!  For those who don't keep tabs on Ubuntu
release schedules, this means that around April 2008 we'll have a
5-year stable platform for LTSP servers with local apps.

While I hesitate to prognosticate, my gut tells me we'll see a similar
release somewhere around April-June 2010, as well.  Having an
every-few-years upgrade cycle to plan around... priceless!
