[K12OSN] 1440x990 resolution on thin client

I'm having trouble getting 1440x990 on a thin client.  I'm running
K12LTSP 5.0 and using a SYM1110 from Symbio Technologies.

Here's what I've got in lts.conf

XSERVER 	= vesa
X_COLOR_DEPTH	= 16
X_HORZSYNC	= "30-82"
X_VERTREFRESH	= "56-76"
X_MODE_0	= 1440x900 106.47 1440 1520 1672 1904 900 901 904 932 -HSync +Vsync

My modeline was gotten by running:
gtf 1440 900 60

I really don't know anything about modelines, so it could be wrong.

Anyway, with these settings I get 1600x1200 resolution, which is the max
this thin client can produce, but the text is too small for my taste.
If someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd really appreciate it.
