You are correct. I learned about the SME server about three years ago
from David Trask. I installed it in 4 schools as a firewall, and it
worked great in every case, reducing continual virus problems at each
school. Installing SME firewalls reduced a major source of frustration,
and rework.
I did use Matt's install script for a LDAP server at the High School but
never felt as comfortable using it as I do the SME box.
Anyway... it is hard for me to take the training wheels off.
