You're not doing anything wrong. However, to burn a DVD of that disk,
you MUST use a dual layer drive and disk. It simply won't fit otherwise.

If you have a dual layer drive and get dual layer disks, there is
nothing you need to do as it will work automagically.

Alternatively, loopback mount that iso image and share it out as a NFS
mount or plop it in a web space served by apache. Then just burn the
boot CD and start it up with "linux askmethod" and load everything off
the network.
