I'm in the process of setting up thin client server to add to our existing Windows network.
All the backend for all the windows boxes is already linux based using Matt's excellent installer
script and has been working happily for several years now.
I've installed a test server with K12LTSP 6.0.0 and this authenticates OK against our LDAP server
but I have few questions :-)
1.) Do the users have to have a vlaid shell ? at the moment they are all set to /bin/false
2.) What's the best way to set things like proxies in Firefox, can I install the same global
extension I created in CCK for the windows machines ?
3.) What's the best way to stop little finger fiddling, I've tried KioskTool, is this the best way.
I've got more questions but that'll do for now :-)
Thanks
