Our schools runs Koha and LTSP, but not on the same server. Koha's OPAC
(catalogue) can be accessed from any old web browser. Administration is web
based too so you could run it on your LTSP server if desired. We run Koha on
it's own dedicated machine, which lives in the library, because our LTSP
systems is only accessible in specific classrooms. We have the server
capacity to expand LTSP throughout the school but SMT aren't interested. We
run PyKota too and it works very well. We lockdown our desktop using
kiosktool (we run KDE).

Koha handles self service reservations and if you have the right hardware can
read barcodes. Our librarian does issues, returns and cataloging from the
main desk, where she has a barcode reader.

lprng allows users to control their own print jobs.
