[K12OSN] usb drives on thin clients not mounting k12ltsp ver6

I have been using edubuntu and everything has just worked from the start. We
are considering using k12ltsp for our computer labs so I did a fresh
install, ran all the updates, etc.. The clients boot up and everything is
fine except for the fact that the usb drives will not mount on the clients.
They will mount on the server just fine. Made sure that users are a member
of the fuse group. What gives?
