I've got a printing setup question. I have a vague understanding if cups printing. And I can successfully setup a printer shared by a samba server. But I have a printer in the lab, and it is connected to the server directly with the terminals. I set the IP and subnet to be 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 with a gateway of 192.168.0.254 but I cannot seem to ping it. By the way it cannot DHCP or I would. Anythoughts on what to do? I do not want to run a cable just for it. Thanks.
