Eeewww. LILO is the reason grub was created.

If you can access one distro then you have a chance. By editing
the /etc/lilo.conf file and reruning /sbin/lilo it will update the MBR
boot code.

Now the updates are going to be the biggie and it's been a LONG time
since I've tweaked anything. If you can send over what you have, we'll
take a peek and see if there is something obvious.
