definitely not working...

It should be adding objectclass: sambaSamAccount
and attributes for...
sambaSID sambaPrimaryGroupSID displayName sambaPwdMustChange
sambaAcctFlags sambaPwdCanChange sambaNTPassword  sambaPwdLastSet

Have you set all of the values in smbldap_conf ?

Have you set values in LDAP for 'sambaDomainName' and 'Idmap' ?
