[K12OSN] Capturing snapshots from camera

Have you looked into zoneminder?  http://www.zoneminder.com/

In my brief research that I've done on this subject, it seems the best
solution is to get an IP camera by a reputable manufacturer.  I think
Axis was recommended on some of the sites I viewed.
