I just looked at the wiki page with the intent of adding the steps mentioned
in
my previous message. But it appears I already updated the wiki page for
K12LTSP-EL5, complete with links to an already rebuilt gdm package that you
can
just drop in on your K12LTSP-EL5 system. I have this running on a couple of
my
systems, and yum does not list any newer versions of gdm. So, if the steps
in
the wiki page didn't work for you, I'm a bit confused and will need more
info
about the state of your system and what errors you're getting.

Peter thanks again for the feedback. You're right. I had to remove my head
(head-up-rectum syndrome) and run rpm update (rpm -hUv), not rpm install
(rpm -ivh) which was what I had done. It was late and I was tired, what else
can I say...

Everything works now as it should. Thank you for the help here, I greatly
appreciate it.
