[K12OSN] adding printer problem

I tried the ip address in place of finaid12 with no success.
I can ping the client by both ip and name.

what happens if you use socket://x.y.w.z:9100
where x.y.w.z is the IP address of finaid12? I would sometimes have
problems with name resolution (though not recently) and started using
the IP address which has worked flawlessly for me.
