[K12OSN] K12Linux ldap problems

I’ve got a K12Linux setup tying into Active Directory via LDAP.  My config checks out w/ “getent passwd” as well as ssh logins on the new K12Linux server (same formula for all my Linux boxen).   Root and local account logins work from a client using LDM.  However…….. LDM will accept a username/password from an ldap user and appear to work, goes blank, then opens back up to LDM.  I get this on the server under /var/log/messages on the server:

This happens with and without NSCD.  I’ve taken NFS out of the picture at the moment, so it is just w/ authentication I think…. I’ve also checked the directory permissions.  Firewall is stopped.

Is it related to this?

I’m so close on this.  I’m about ready to roll these out w/ Local apps, possibly even local crossover Office installations of Office 2003.  I’ve even got both NICs BONDED (aka mixed network setup too) and not using a bridge, and they check out (local account logins work fine, and ssh on the server).

Thanks for any help!
