Daniel,

Can you find an unmanaged switch lying around that you can temporarily
plug into were your managed switch is now ,that is supplying your TC's
to see if you still get the same booting results? If the TC's do, in
fact boot OK with the unmanaged switch then you'll have to start digging
into the setup of your managed switch. At least this would resolve or
not resolve one possibility in your equation.
