Re: [K12OSN] remote X problem. . .



Wouldn't logging in as root actually be higher-level than just sudo the command? I was logged into the remote as root. . .

I'm assuming you are using sudo in your command.  Try using gksudo instead.  Some distros are more picky about that than others.
