As I said it, there is only the attribution of the IP address (of c50) in
/var/log/messages on the server K12LTSP :

Jul 9 22:04:38 k2 dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:e0:c5:64:b9:10 via eth0
Jul 9 22:04:38 k2 dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.3 to 00:e0:c5:64:b9:10
via eth0
Jul 9 22:04:38 k2 dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:e0:c5:64:b9:10 via eth0
Jul 9 22:04:38 k2 dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.3 to 00:e0:c5:64:b9:10
via eth0
Jul 9 22:04:38 k2 dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.0.3 (192.168.0.254) from
00:e0:c5:64:b9:10 via eth0
Jul 9 22:04:38 k2 dhcpd: DHCPACK on 192.168.0.3 to 00:e0:c5:64:b9:10 via
eth0

It's all.

NB: On the C50, i can have the logging banner by : "X -query server.ltsp
:1" in terminal of c50 after kill, on the c50, the process 949, below

 936 ? S 0:00 /bin/sh /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S40xserver start
  948 ? S 0:00 initlog -q -c /usr/X11R6/bin/xserverd
  949 ? S 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/X11R6/bin/xserverd

Thank you

Andre,

On the server as root in a terminal type the following;
tail -f /var/log/messages

,,, now try booting one of the c50 TC's.
copy/paste the output in the terminal to the list here.
This may reveal what is causing your TC's not to boot.

Take Care,
Barry Cisna
