[K12OSN] iptables ? help

Check in /etc/syslog.conf see if there is a line that has something like:

kern.*     /dev/console

Add a # to the beginning of the line like this:
#kern.*    /dev/console

Restart syslog.

Yeah, can do it that way, but it is remote to here. . .Guess I'll just
have to get my hands on it.

It would be easier f someone could just tell me how to turn off the
output to the console from iptables. . .

But, when I get a chance to get where it is, I'll do the iptables -L as
I was told. . .

You could also do it with a terminal window when logged into a GUI.
