I am happy about this news. I always struggle with enrollment as there
is little incentive, for students, to take an academic elective which
does not count as a Math or Science course. Lots of students take
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Calculus because they are recognized
by Universities/Colleges as entrance requirements. Not so with CS
currently. Hopefully this will change. I would love to see CS be
accepted as a Mathematical Science course. I just hope they have some
common sense and standardize on Python, NOT Java!
