/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf
Start reading comments at line # 95

/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/build_x4_cfg
Read top to bottom here as well.

Be sure and save a copy of each of these files as 'filenameORIG.conf'
before you start hacking on these as  this will cause you lots of grief
if you have not saved originals, if you need to revert back to the
original video settings to at least be able to see something!
If you get white spaces in these will cause you grief as well. Why do I
know?....:)

Also, have you tried these clients,just temporarily, with a newer
monitor ,preferably a flat panel,just to see  if these remedies the
flickering you are experiencing? I know you have to use the existing
hardware pieces you have available.
