This is what I did:
#mv /etc/udev/rules.d/99-fuse.rules to /etc/udev/rules.d/99-fuse.rules_99fuse.rules_RENAMING_SO_yum_update_WORKS
#rpm -Uvh --force fuse-libs-2.7.4-8.el5.i386.rpm
#rpm -Uvh --force fuse-2.7.4-8.el5.i386.rpm
#yum clean all
This is how it ended..... Complete!
