[K12OSN] [Bulk] Computer lab needed in Elementary school?

After reading all the arguments for and against an LTSP-based computer
lab, and being in a large school district with "wireless everywhere",
here's what I think.
Dedicated LTSP computer labs are still the way to go. The whole point
of a computer is as a tool to get work done. That means the teachers
need to be able to monitor what the kids are doing. LTSP lends itself
very well to just that. Additionally, only certain applications need to
be enabled (OO.o and Firefox, chiefly). LTSP systems are easy and less
time-consuming to maintain, especially as the number of devices / end
terminals grows. Finally, computer security is much easier with LTSP,
on several counts.
