That looks reasonable.

I'm not sure if the default LTSP installs a working /etc/yum.repos.d folder
in the chroot or not. I'm not anywhere near a test rig so I can't check.
You may want to copy in your main one form (non-chroot) /etc/yum.repos.d/*
and edit them to be specific for the clients (i.e. i386 or i686).
