Unable to repeat on F15 32bits (2.6.38.8-32.fc15.i686.PAE) running rvm 
"clean" ruby:

$ ruby -version
ruby 1.8.7 (2011-02-18 patchlevel 334) [i686-linux]

The marginal question is: are you able to repeat this in the production 
mode?

Here is someone experiencing the same on MacOS running Ruby 1.9:

This guy is facing the same on Debian. Somebody changed to "thirdparty 
bug" and pointing out the guy is using "rubytracer" component which is 
not gc safe:

/home/thomas/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.2-p180/gems/therubyracer-0.9.0/ext/v8/v8.so(+0x549b5) 
[0xb6c649b5]

Do you also have this "therubytracer" gem installed on your system (and 
is it in the backtrace)? It could be the same problem.
