Hi all,
Partha and I have assembled a list of questions that system
administrators would have that hopefully this feature will answer:
https://fedorahosted.org/katello/wiki/ContentBrowser (scroll down to
'question to answer')
Here's the reproduced list:
* Given a product, which environments has the product been promoted to.
* Given a product, which environments have the different repositories
of the product been promoted to?
* Given a product, what is the difference of the packages within that
product between a set of environments.
* Given a repository, what is the difference of the packages within
that repository between a set of environments.
* Given a product, what packages exist for that product in a given
environment
* Given a repository, what packages exist for that repository in a
given environment
* Given a product, what is the difference of the errata within that
product between a set of environments.
* Given a repository, what is the difference of the errata within that
repository between a set of environments.
* Given a product, what errata exist within a given environment
* Given a repository, what errata exist within a given environment.
* Given a system template, what version exists in each environment
* Given a system template, how do the contents differ between
environments
* Given a package search string, which environments does a package
that matches this search string exist in
* Given a package search string, what are the different nevras of the
packages in each of those environments
* Given an errata search string, which errata exist in each
environment that match that search string
* Showing the latest errata of a certain type, which environments
contain the errata and which do not.
* Given a date range which errata exist in each errata.
* Given a distro search string, what are the different distributions
in each of those environments
* Given an ISO search string, what environments have the contents of
this iso promoted ?
Thoughts?
-Justin
