Right, that is a good point.

Can you delete Gemfile.lock and then to run your rake task? No, you need
to do bundle install before running it, I guess. I miss the purpose of
the task then.

I think this is maybe too complicated, simple script can do the work. In
addition to that, this will only work on Fedora and RHEL.
