I like both but I'll have to pick #2.  Most of our page is white and I 
like that the header elements (nav and logo) are a much darker color 
than the rest of the page in #2.

I don't dislike #1 but I like that with #2 have the whole header and nav 
that stands out in contrast to the rest of the page.  either way, they 
are both great thou
