If you mean Advanced Server 2.1, it is based on RH 7.3, and did not use 
isolinux. Sounds like you're looking at the wrong documentation set.

AS 2.1 used syslinux and created a floppy image for booting, in the 
dosutils/autoboot/cdboot.img file.
