I actually didn't include "//" here, just nfs:pxenfs...

To clarify, I've now tried just about every combination:
ks=nfs:pxenfs.sbrk.co.uk:/kickstart/ works
ks=nfs:pxenfs:/kickstart/ fails due to domain not used and DNS lookup of "pxenfs."
ks=nfs:192.168.8.2:/kickstart/ fails - no DNS lookup, no ARP, nothing
Perhaps I'll download the source and have a look into this.
