Using two network devices during installation

When you got 2 differents kernel modules for your 2 network devices, lets say 
e100 and 3c59x , the naming of the network devices is in /etc/modules.conf :

alias eth0 e100
alias eth1 3c59x

will set your intel card on eth0 and your 3com card on eth1
