copy files cdrom to redhat

In the post installarion how can I tell the sistem
that copy a file into a especific directory ?

I think is something like this:

cp /mnt/cdrom/Fedora/files/example.txt /etc/

But I dont know if the system will respect the
/mnt/cdrom ...

Any ideas ?
