[Libguestfs] febootstrap 3.6

I've pushed all of Hilko Bengen's contributions and a few other
changes:

 - external insmod is not required at all (yay!)
 - fixed a few printf problems that were revealed by compiling the
   code with -Wall -Werror
 - verified that libguestfs still builds and runs
