[Libguestfs] Virtio-win RPM?

Well, we tried our P2V again, this time with a copy of virtio-win.iso in /usr/share/virtio-win that I put in by hand. Just like before, it died again after 3+ hours. Here is what I put in place by hand. It was a shot in the dark.

[root at FedoraP2V virtio-win]#
[root at FedoraP2V virtio-win]# rpm -qa | grep virtio
[root at FedoraP2V virtio-win]#
[root at FedoraP2V virtio-win]# yum install virtio-win
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
Adding en_US to language list
Setting up Install Process
No package virtio-win available.
Error: Nothing to do
[root at FedoraP2V virtio-win]# ls -al /usr/share/virtio-win
total 42144
drwxr-xr-x.   2 root root     4096 Nov 18 17:15 .
drwxr-xr-x. 292 root root    12288 Nov 18 16:39 ..

-rw-r--r--.   1 root root 41660416 Nov 18 16:36 virtio-win-0.1-15.iso
lrwxrwxrwx.   1 root root       21 Nov 18 16:55 virtio-win.iso -> virtio-win-0.1-15.iso
lrwxrwxrwx.   1 root root       30 Nov 18 17:15 virtio-win.vfd -> virtio-drivers-1.0.3-52454.vfd
[root at FedoraP2V virtio-win]#

OK, I'm being verbose:

This link:
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/13/html/Virtualization_Guide/chap-Virtualization-KVM_Para_virtualized_Drivers.html

says:

> Download the virtio-win package with the yum command.
> # yum install virtio-win

> The virtio-win package installs a CD-ROM image, virtio-win.iso, in the /usr/share/virtio-win/ directory.

OK wonderful, I can follow a cookbook. If only the recipe were right.

[root at FedoraP2V bin]#

[root at FedoraP2V bin]# yum list available | grep virtio
[root at FedoraP2V bin]#
[root at FedoraP2V bin]# yum install virtio-win
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
Adding en_US to language list
Setting up Install Process
No package virtio-win available.
Error: Nothing to do
[root at FedoraP2V bin]#

I know yum is good on this system because I just did a yum update and it applied 600+ updates.

So this is the next thing I'm going to try - I have copies of virtio-win.iso all over the place. I'll just put one in /usr/share/virtio-win by hand and then we'll kick off another P2V and see how it goes.
