Actually, this is also (going to be) a problem. Linux 2.6.32 didn't
have virtio-serial, so that kernel won't work with libguestfs. See my
notes from compiling on Ubuntu 10.04 here:

For 10.04 you also need to apply the patches in:
http://libguestfs.org/download/binaries/ubuntu1004-packages/
