Knowing that one media is a live image, and another is a netiso
is more than "the 2 medias are different". You may want a live iso but
not a netiso as you want a quick preview of a system, you may want a
netiso because it's smaller, you may not want a netiso because you know
installation is likely to be a bit longish, ...

If all you want is unattended installation, you indeed don't care about
netiso/live/..., you only want libosinfo to let you know which images
are appropriate/not appropriate.
