I'm one of the maintainers and libosinfo follows GNOME release cycle
if it needs to, as long as Daniel is fine with it. FWIW, I've talked
to Daniel about release at least two weeks before and I also asked him
two days ago.

If you over-exaggerate the situation, of course it looks "too far" to
you. They weren't exactly last minute. I worked at late night to
ensure that I give you at least a whole day to review them, pinged you
to review them when I didn't receive any input from anyone during the
day and acted on your review comments that I could and only merged
them after realizing that your remaining comment could be addressed
after the release without breaking API.
