IPv6 has a way that hosts can choose a (semi-)random upper 64 bits as
well. Unfortunately as far as I can see it's deprecated :-(

You might also consider using link-local addresses (which are not
deprecated), since the guests are supposed to be directly connected to
each other. I'm not sure of the implications of that though ...?
