I asked the virt-tools folks, and they mentioned that they get their information exclusively from libvirt. If I want to show arp table info, I need to implement retrieval in libvirt. Would any of you be able to help me sketch out some extensions to libvirt to give some feedback about the virtual network interface? It would also be nice to have a way to remotely manage the device. It might be a bit too far-reaching, but quagga might be a good way to provide such remote management. Thoughts? C.J.
