Thanks for the patch series.  I think we're close enough to the 0.8.6
release that it would be wiser to defer this until after the release; at
any rate, it was barely submitted after the feature freeze on Nov 23
announced here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libvir-list/2010-November/msg00727.html.
 I've put it on my queue to review at that point, if no one else gets to
it sooner (and sorry for the delays).
