I found the API doc online:

int	virDomainBlockPeek		(virDomainPtr dom,
					 const char * disk,
					 unsigned long long offset,
					 size_t size,
					 void * buffer,
					 unsigned int flags)

Guess the problem is extend it to work with snapshot.
