[libvirt] libvirt doesn't compile on OS X 10.9 Mavericks

libvirt 1.1.3 doesn't compile on OS X 10.9 Mavericks. A bug report has  
already been filed, but I was asked to write to this mailing list to  
bring the matter to your attention.

In that bug report it mentions that this was fixed, however the patch  
linked to does not fix the problem.
