Don't understand this very well, did you mean with
VIR_DOMAIN_STATS_ALL | VIR_DOMAIN_STATS_BLOCK
libvirt will return an error if VIR_DOMAIN_STATS_BLOCK not supported?
not sure if this scenario is useful.
