I still don't see a reason why anyone would really prefer one ABI over the
other instead of just simply running the build for both.

about the vars, the same would actually apply to those changes (first patch), I
simply replied to this one only, I probably should have replied to that one
too...

I didn't realize this about Jenkins until you pointed it out. So, since for
Jenkins both mingw variants are separate entities/jobs, it now makes more sense
to me to favour consistency and split them.
