Our Makefile specifies what to do on installation:

  $(MKDIR_P) -m 0751 "$(DESTDIR)$(localstatedir)/lib/libvirt/qemu"

so I guess this is a packaging issue.  No idea where/how the arch packaging
works, sorry.
