This will probably sound silly... but using the "site:" option with a 
search engine is reasonably functional:

ie. for Google, do a search on:

   +"stuff" site:http://www.redhat.com/archives/libvir-list/

For ask.com, this works:

   stuff site:http://www.redhat.com/archives/libvir-list/

"stuff" will return results, so is a decent example. :)
